If the local authority chooses to contest your appeal, they will upload their evidence onto your online appeal, which should include a link to the Traffic Regulation Order in the TRO Library.

Guidance for general browsers of this library

Access TRO documents for a specific authority by following the instructions below.

• Step 1: Click on a local authority name in the scrolling list on the left-hand side of this screen. Alternatively, you can type an authority name in the ‘Search Authorities’ box.
• Step 2: A list of all TROs from the chosen authority will be displayed in a table. A list of ‘Standard Documents’ (e.g. an example PCN) for that authority will also be accessible.
• Step 3: If required, you can filter the results by entering a specific TRO reference number, title or publication year in the box above the table.
• Step 4: Click on the reference number in the left-hand column of the results table list to view the specific TRO.

Browse by search form – this enables you to search for a TRO(s) across all local authorities using three specified search criteria. Please click “Search” in the left hand navigation bar to access the library’s Search Form. The guidance notes with the Search Form will assist you.
